The 360 degree image taken by our photographer Edward Richard Miller at the Premiere of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part II has been viewed thousands of times all around the globe.
On 16th November, the public were invited to interact with images from the red carpet at the London Premiere of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part II.
In conjunction with Press Association, Google-Trusted photographer Edward Richard Miller was commissioned to produce a series of interactive 360 degree images from the red carpet to celebrate the final instalment of the Twilight saga. Produced at the film’s premiere on 16th November, the imagery was embedded into websites, iPad digital publications and Facebook pages.
12-Hour Turnaround Time
The imagery was turned around within 12 hours of the premiere, so that it was ready to be embedded on websites the morning after the event.
Clients were given an iframe code that they can use to embed the imagery onto their website and Facebook pages.
The interactive image is compatible both on desktop browsers, mobiles and tablet devices.
When viewed with an iPad or iPhone, users will also benefit from the ‘gyro’ capabilities, meaning that if the users turns the device left, the imagery turns left. Move the device up and the imagery moves up.
To ensure maximum security, the imagery was hosted on Amazon’s S3 server space so clients could be confident that their imagery was safe.
Sound was recorded from the event and was integrated into each image, creating an experience for the viewer like they were actually there! Pressing the sound button on the right of the interactive image will turn sound on and off.
The social buttons on the lower right of each interactive image will shared the hosting webpage via Facebook, Twitter or Email for maximum exposure.
